Reply to the second set of rocks

I'm at the village with the maze. I've gotten permission from everyone except the woman who wants the road cleared. I have found the blockage, but I can't figure out how to clear away the rocks. Bombs don't work. Fireball doesn't work. I can't push them and my sword does nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
