You should write one, dinkulum
Hehe, oh and sorry about that puzzle, A LOT of people seem to get stuck on it, I should've explained it better in game..

Not at all. That's what puzzles are for.
In the other thread you say it's a problem that it can be read in two ways. I don't think that's a problem at all. It would be if you die from trying the wrong order, but like this it just makes the puzzle slightly harder. Not really, though, I don't think anyone would try the other meaning first.

Well maybe not if you've played a lot of games like this (a.k.a Zelda) but if you're new to gaming you could do that sort of things wrong.. also those of languages where you read from right to left might have some problems... i think... maybe?
Have you played it, Shevek?

True. You could add an "easy" mode for it, but I wouldn't give it away for most players. It's fine to think hard about it, and if you can't come up with the answer, you can always check a walkthrough.

I think people who speak those languages are used to these things. And also, there's no problem with trying something that doesn't work.

I haven't played Zelda, but I have indeed played many games like it. I did play three amulets. When I first read this question I couldn't even remember the puzzle, because it was so easy I forgot it. It's just a note saying "this is the order" and Dink should do what he always does (punch) in that order. I solved it without thinking (and without remembering well).
But isn't this the dmod with the boss monster where all the spikers keep entering the room, with the wall that protects him? Now that was a challenge (first to find out how to hurt it, and then to actually beat it).
