The Dink Network

Bored Ancients create Mutant Veggies for their own amusement. Dink Smallwood is the only one willing to pit his strength and skill against the rebellious Ancients and mutant veggies to save the kingdom.

This d-mod is passable in my opinion. The story was solid with no plot holes, and had a comedic taste to it: Bored ancients who make mutant veggies! I am not very far in this game, and to tell the truth, I actually quit it. The reason? The reason lies within the enemies strength. But I'll tell you all about that soon.

Overall I give the story: 10/10.

The graphics of AOTMV were a little bland in my opinion. The buildings are the same as in any other mod, the scenery, and some enemies. But there are some additions of new graphics such as the celery. I think it was a good idea to put in the celery as a sprite.

Overall I give the graphics: 9/10.

The sound. I don't really have much to say about the sound, although the title music suits the game. Now, there may be some new sounds later in the game, but I haven't gotten that far since I quit a while back.

Overall I give the sound: 8/10.

I wanted to throw in an extra section in this review that is all about the over-defense of the vegetables. First off, I think that the veggies are a little to overpowered, when it comes to defense. The highest damage I ever seem to do is just one. I tried raising my attack by about 1000 via the DSSE, but I still only delivered one point worth of damage to them. This is the part of the game that lowers my overall score from a perfect 10, down to 8.9.
